Is the dually Dana 80 a good reared to use for a conversion? I was looking at it for the gross weight it can handle. I know that it will take some fab work witch i understand. If not then i will go for the 14 bolt Dana 70. Witch brings me to another question. Can you weld on the 60 to 66 frame? I was told and heard that it was heat treated and that it would make the frame weaker. Thanks for any info and the write up answered some questions i have had.
