After some more mocking we get hooked up and yank my junk off the rockpile I just barber-poled my rear driveshaft on. A couple of days later photos of my stupidity hit the web with a little more grief given.

It's all in good fun. Though when I managed to get myself *not the truck mind you* stuck in the mud fishing last year. Larry's wise-arse first response of bringing big blue over to spool out the winch to get my stuck leg out of the soup I was in didn't quite strike my funny bone as much as it did his. He did however pull out the camera to catch me in a "Winne the Poo" type moment. Larry was nice enough to fire up the hot water heater in the camper so I could rinse off in comfort.

Larry's got a lot of experience towing back when he was younger. His truck is so darn capable I don't think he's had to winch himself out of any problem in quite some time. So I'm just helping him keep his recovery skills sharp!
Hehe, at least you can say we always have fun when we hit the trail and haven’t broke anything to major yet. I imagine one day you will be getting a panic phone call from me somewhere in Arizona or Utah begging you to go pick up the pewter puff Silverado and load up the trailer to come pick up a 8.1L K10 with 8 big dents in the hood. Hope that never happens but you never know!

Until then, enjoy Winnie the Pooh! I offered to swing the winch cable around your neck but you said no
