Nice find. I think it's possible it is factory. I don't know for sure bout 3/4t shortbeds as far as when they were last made. But,when I lived in CA my friend had a 2wd Chevy in the Task Force years that was a shortbed 3/4t. It had 15" 8-lug split rims. It was definitely factory. Then,back in the '80s I knew a guy with a 65 or 66 short panel 4wd with 8-lug axles.I've been into 4wds forever and checked it out. It wasn't newer running gear. He was a mechanic. Neither of us knew anything about what was factory or not back then,but we both thought it was factory. There were also still Napco conversions well past these years,just not too common and usually a 1t or heavier. I had a '71 C/30 SRW cab & chassis Napco conversion.
