i think they have a legitimate black market appeal. someone took mine
probably laughed all the way to the bank after they paid the p/o $10 for them. it seems everyone has to put them on their truck nowadays, the next "cool" fad to follow a/c, tilt, tach, vac, speedwarning, buckets. they do look cool, and they are useful. wish i had em there for the winter when i know i will have to pull people out of ditches. if i ever get a set, i'm gonna sleep with them on my nightstand until i put them on my truck, and they will be bolted & tack welded in place so no one can help themselves to a set. grrr
