Check the cab for traces of ivory/off-white paint below the trim if still installed. You might also check between the bed along the bottom of the cab for traces of the same color.
The grill would have been white also.
Better yet post some pics and let the experts decide.
I have seen an original 50th with a 6cyl 3 speed for sale in a local town.
