I drilled 1/4" holes about a 1/2" from the edge of the door panel, aprox 6" apart. This allowed for the door panel to be secured without it popping off. The metal clips allow you to remove the panel without problems. Hope that helps
Nice! I sent Dino a PM asking about these, thanks for posting the details.

I replaced all my door hardware with stainless allen hardware, but this is a clean look. Interior looks amazing.
