probably the cheapest route would be to swap in the later crossmember. I prefer the old steel bushings, & have kept the stock crossmember. I have 71-72 lower a arms, with 75 spindles, ball joints,tierod assys & centerlink. The swap can be done either way, & just depends if you have the eng in the truck or out. Its easier to swap the crossmember as a complete unit , if the eng is out of the truck. good luck,crazyL
