For you there are two places I would check, both suck one just worse than the other!

1st -- Check behind the intake manifold if the gasket were installed incorrectly or were damaged somehow the water could flow out between the block and the intake and down your transmission...

2nd -- And I hate to say it but the one I would be leaning towards is one of the freeze plugs in the back of the block... To get to those you have to drop the tranny and remove the flywheel!
