I think part of the appeal of tow hooks is that they are hard to find, plus they do look awful tough mounted on the front of a 4x4

I've heard alot of guys on here say how stupid it is to spend so much on a pair of old tow hooks, but yet an old tach out of a 2 ton truck will still bring around 200.00 even though they have been reproduced for years now.

I just got a 1971 suburban dealer order form off ebay and it lists the tow hook option for 19.00
