Did you have the alignment reset after changing springs? Sounds like the toe in is off, which can make one tire skid or plow. Would definately have the front end checked and reset. Try to find an alignment shop that is familiar with lowered vehicles. Factory settings don't always work, since you've effectively changed the factory geometry.
A little tip I have learned over the years is to also add more caster(tilting the spindle/upper ball joint farther back)- seems to make these trucks track better and turn smoother, in my opinion.
