Me 9 yr old also ADHD and really loves cars too he helped me put lowering springs on OUR 72 burb and do front brakes on the mother in laws toyota rav4 and front brakes on my wifes pontiac torrent he really loves being in the new shop with and I enjoy having him there with maybe some things he can teach me too, like patience. LOL
