It was where the floor meets the kick panel on mine. I had my newly upholstered kick panel sitting in place on the bare seam. It wasn't a huge issue, but I ended up seam taping the whole deal just to be safe.

I have a foam mat between the peal and seal and carpet, so it wouldn't ever hit the carpet, but it looks a lot cleaner seamed up, too. Not that anyone sees it under the carpet
