Viper makes a great radar sensor that you can put under your chair or above your tranny. It is adjustable so will only trip if somebody gets into your truck or all the way up to 20' around the truck.
This eliminates all the wires and sensors. I put the shock sensor on minimun and the hood is cable locked.
