14mpg is actually pretty good for these trucks....the highest i have ever obserbed with mine has been 13.1 mpg....most get 10-12. When you have a low-compression V8 pulling a 4000lb truck that has no aerodynamics, 15mpg is usually the best you can get keeping you foot out of the gas pedal.
