Yes, that is a problem I hate to say. Your heads have an exhaust cross over whereas the intake does not. The intake will bolt on and the truck will run alright but you will never get the exhaust leak to stop. I believe the Gen V big blocks from 1992 to 1995 did not use exhaust crossovers. That said, it looks like the intake is for a newer TBI BB (~92-95). The other possibility is your heads are older than you think.

This is like deja poo to me as I seen this poop before. I went through a similar mess doing a MPFI conversion and ended up swapping on non-exhaust cross over L29 Vortec heads to work with the non-exhaust crossover intake.

The heads on your truck are like the one on the left but your intake is for the one in the middle. Pay no attention to the gray texts boxes as they are not 100% accurate.
