I really like what you've done. I thought about doing something similar to my truck at one time, except the holes were going to be round with small blended shrouds above the lights. Nice work, looking forward to seeing the finished result.

Any how I just took his main idea and blindly went at it.
I have taken a few picks so I will show what I did. But basically I cut the original bumper in half. Then sectioned 3inches out of the bumper (from both ends using the mounting holes as my start point) for a total of 6 inches being removed. I used the bolt holes as my start point because I wanted to keep the stock mounted look. Thus I left the holes for carriage bolts.
I have gotten the whole thing dry hung and ever thing looks good, I did have to take a few bits off the other half and fix the ends so they looked more factory!
