Mcmlxix, did you happen to have measured the inside of the wheel? I'd also like to go to bigger front brakes on my D60, but I have 16.5" H1 wheels. They're actually pretty big inside, something like 15 3/4".
Now that I'm taking a closer look at the inside of your wheels, I see they are pretty big, too....
