It may look cool, but it sucks.
I have two of these "Custom Deluxe" trucks now. There is nothing custom or deluxe about them.
One of them is manual steering, manual brakes, 250 six and 3 on the tree. Rubber floor, no AC, no sway bar, and no tilt (did any 3 on the tree trucks have tilt columns? Probably not.) It originally had an AM radio but nothing when I got it. The rust free short bed body was nice with no dents in the back of the cab, a straight-ish box and the price was right. It's easy enough to add options so I'd probably pick up another if it came along...
You can lose your wallet sitting on the seat next to you without the dome light at night. I'll be cutting holes when I get to that stage on my 84 C10 and 85...
It's only a two wire hookup because the switch and the wires exist for the floor light next to the ash tray. The hardest part will be cutting the hole in the inner roof panel correctly and fishing the wire from just above where a factory driver's rear speaker would be in between the inner and outer roof.
