Interesting how the Gentleman Jim's worked for tires and the speedo gearing. The build sheets and SPIDs all show G78-15 tires (XGS, YGS, ZGS codes). They actually had LR60-15s when they hit the dealer (COPO Codes 2TS, 3TS, 4TS).

All six of those codes are on this build sheet.

Because of this, I think they were built on the assembly line with the speedo gears in the tranny correct for the G78 tires. They may have even had those tires and been sent to a separate line for fitting the wider tires, the bed side and hood decals and the radio with the kickpanel speakers. They all (I've seen 5 or 6) have adapter gear boxes on the speedo cable to correct for the LR60 tires... That all jives with this build sheet.
