I really want a cross ram for my truck. A pair of 450cfm Holleys and lots of tuning with my wideband O2, I bet I could get decent mileage out of a combo like that.
I did a pair of Edelbrock 500cfm on a 482ci BBC in a 70 Monte Carlo and it got 14-15 mpg on a mountain trip to TN. Dual carbs can be streetable, you just have to work at it. Its not going to just bolt on and work.
