Gauging Interest- Aluminum Spicer Lockout Dials
This would be for 3/4 tons big hub Dana 44 only at this point and blue in color. I'm thinking about making several sets. Please post responses in this thread and not via PM.
Price depends on how many are ordered so i'm trying to figure out what the interest level would be. Expect pricing to be more than $175 a pair. These won't be the cheapest way to get a dial, but they will be much more durable and a way to get a blue dial without painting. These will be made from 6061 aluminum so will not be prone to the cracking issue around the drive pin that the original plastic units are.
I modeled these up on the computer to match dimensions exactly with a NOS unit. I am ready to get machine shop and anodizing quotes, just need to know what type of quantities for the quote and if there's enough interest to pursue further.
You could make and apply an original style label or paint the arrow I'm having recessed into the tab.
