Full agreement here. I have replaced windshields in several older vehicles and it is AMAZING the difference a new windshield makes. Especially in sunlight or on coming headlights.
Having said that, my '69 c10 still has all the original glass. Considering asking if my insurance company will replace it free to eliminate the pitted glass 'galaxy effect' since it becomes a safety issue. They did it for my old Mustang. One advantage not having one of those discount online carriers. Be gone little Gecko dude
