Re: Longest Distance

I haven't drinen my swap trucks very far, but I do have over a collective 200,000 miles on all my swap vehicles. My '33 Ford with an LS1 has been form New York New York to LA California, and as far south as Louisiana and north as Toronto ON. Its got 67k on it. My nova has 120k on the swap. It has been as far south as Key West FLand everywhere in between. Just add A/C and cruise control and you're good to go long distances. I do have to say though, you're not taking advantage of one of the best parts of these engines, the EFI, it makes them so much nicer to drive. No hard starting, altitude doesn't affect them, can't say that about a carb.

And just because everybody likes pics, although these are not my trucks, they drive home a point, if you take your time and don't cut corners, swaps can be just as reliable as a new car.
