YES! i am glad someone is on the same page with me!

that is what i was thinking of making, but i was wondering if all that 'stacking' of parts would be alright. i will also be having a bracket under the block and between the leaf that extends out and the air bag sits on.

i was thinking of maybe using steel tubing inplace of the solid aluminum and welding all of it together?

but the solid aluminum seems easier to do for me....
