Re: 1978 k10 rear end gone out
I rebuilt a junkyard 12 bolt last year after an accident broke my original. I was about 1200 bucks in with the junkyard axle, a new eaton posi, motive gears, setup/bearing kit, wheel bearings, and brake parts. looking back on it I wish I would have picked up a 6 lug 14 bolt and built that instead.
