I try to avoid the China syndrome when I can, especially when it comes to brakes but it's getting harder and harder to escape from it. I specifically went to NAPA to get my caliper and wheel cylinder kits only to be disappointed they came from China and Mexico, respectively. I thought I'd also try them for the master cylinder because they are NAPA-branded parts but the pictures they show for it are the identical pictures that all the other parts stores show for their A1-Cardone rebuilt units which I think are also rebuilt in China. I used to think NAPA was synonymous with USA-made but I was wrong.
