I dont think you could get hurt if you had to pay the $9500. Your buying it to restore, not resell. Its so rare to come across an original piece. It would be a different story if you were $10,000 apart, but $2k is well within grasp. See if they guy would split the difference and jump on it!! If someone buys the truck, you will kick yourself in the butt because you knew it was a good deal and didnt buy it......
