I subscribed cause I've been hagglin with the owner of this truck thinking a done up 292 would be great for power and economy in a dd. When I was in my late teens in 68/69 I was a truck helper for a newspaper and they had about 40 dual rear wheel one and two ton van type delivery trucks and they had 292's in them. They worked the crap out of those engine and they stood up well under those conditions thats why I'm thinking it would be great engine in a 1/2 ton.
