How long has the fuel sat in the tank? Fuel can start going bad in a month.
Do you have an inline filter between the pump and carb? It could be cloged and a cheap $3 clear filter allowd you to see if the pump is working.
Kinda goes with the last step but do you have fuel up to the carb? You can prime your line by blowing air into tank wile sealing off the filler neck with a rag.
Everything above checks out u can check by removing the line into carb and cranking motor over. Obviously it shale push fuel out.
