Anybody try an electric fuel pump with a fuel filter on it with an otherwise stock truck (meaning, tank in the cab, no FI, etc.)?

Right now, I'm replacing the fuel delivery system from a newly and properly cleaned (boiled out) up to the carb.
And, I'm always wondering about even NEW fuel pumps.

I'll try the "suck test", raycow offered back in 2010 (thanks for that, BTW), but wouldn't it be nice just to block it off and call it "done"....
....Time, and technology, marches on, no?
