From what I've read, a 6.0 and 4L80 will not be getting you good gas mileage. I went for a 4.8 (from a budget mindset) and an NV3500 5 speed manual. It's not the big parts that get you! Little things keep adding up! I'm thinking I'm going to be just under $2500, spending where I needed to for reliability but no performance upgrades.
