I have a 64 chevy 1/2 ton with v8, measurement was @23 inches at crank pulley. I am not sure but I think the GMC and Chevy used diff core supports...I used a Modine 347(fits a 67 buick skylark 400cu with A/C radiator, 4 core rad that fits just right with new mounts. I found a modine catalog online with every spec(not by year and model) When you said it didn't fit what was the problem, too wide??
