If you don't know your stuff,you probably shouldn't mess with it...unless you just want a few parts for your truck. What I mean is,with any investment you need to know your stuff.. Your best bet is to bring someone along who knows their 67-72 GM Truck N.O.S.
Any GM parts with a bar code are the same part as a GM certified part,which is reproduction,not N.O.S. But,if he truly bought the parts in the '80s they'll be N.O.S. because that was before reproduction and the GM Restoration Parts (repro) program,or any reproduction,for that matter
