I too love the look of the 1-piece. Considered doing mine; that was until I read horror stories concerning the install process--some maybe even worse than rustbucket66 described.

BTW: rustbucket66, I love the looks of your finished product AND the way you reinforced the inside where you mounted your switch--altho' I can't quite visualize how you did it w/out cutting the entire inside door panel and welding it back. (Do you ever caution a 'new' passenger to NOT attempt to roll down his window?)
