On the buckets: 1st I washed them with degreaser and a scrub brush, then used a wire wheel on my bench grinder to remove rust & some undercoating a previous owner got on them. Then I used Rustoleum red oxide primer and after it flashed I used their Professional grade semi gloss black.
Headlight bezels got polished with Turtle wax chrome polish and OOO Steel wool.

Getting the "bubbles" out of the chrome is what I needed help on. I will try the 000 steel wool.
I still have a couple of cans of the TW chrome polish from the seventies!
Photos show correctly.
