Is it possible to pull a license plate light housing from a bumper without getting behind the bumper? I know the usual way is to squeeze the tabs from the back, but is it possible to pry it out from the front with a screwdriver or something?

I'm planning on using a housing for an interior project and I won't have a way to depress the tabs from behind once it's installed.
