i used the brothers kit for everything. one thing i noticed is that there was a 1/4'' gap from the channel to the screw on window trim. i had some 1/4''x1/2'' black foam strip that i stuck in there to fill the gap. it's not a good pic but you can see where the gap is filled with the black foam weather strip. the strip filled the gap and compressed a bit to hold it firmly in place.
