I am Nate! Yes can you believe that. Amazing that it only has that little hole on the pass side and that is it.
I am leaning towards keeping the patina yes.
As for the questions about how I am going to make it look the same. I am definately not a body and paint guy but hopefully the body shop can do a good job of making it look close. I know from American restoration you can use corn starch to flatten paint.
