Depends really on how it's gonna be driven most of the time. Mine's an auto because that's what I found when I was shopping for a truck, but in many cases I would prefer the control of a manual.
If you use it around town and on short trips a lot, to me an auto makes more sense - gas it & go, and you won't be replacing clutches!
