thanks guys, its a guage cluster not and idiot light one. 78 stepside, i knew tach wired in seperatly, but wasn't sure about others. if i use 78 and up, what years would be simple plug and play? and would blazers or surburbans of the same years work also? thanks again. also on the same track, someone removed the original ac. i replace the evap box and welded in a patch where they butched firewall to make a standard heater work. but need to know if any inside heater/defrost/ac box and controls from about 76 to 80 will work if i replace it all. thanks for any help. first time i've played with a truck, more used to old cars and always try getting ones that are complete. this one not so much.
