Re: Aftermarket Underbed Fuel Tank Filler Neck/Cap Options

Denee you will need some sort of gas cap that seals and then a vent tube that runs up several inches higher than the high point of the tank to prevent any sloshing out.

The cap is up to you and your imagination. I've been thinking about using a late model neck on my truck and using one of those caps that you don't have to remove but just push the nozzle through a flap door in the middle of the cap. Similar to this http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=990009 That one should be available about anywhere.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
