My alternator gave up on me tonight, (had to be towed home)

so I am going to buy a new one.

Should I go with a higher amp alternator such as 80 or 100 amps?

I have a mild audio setup, 300 watt amp, two 10"s, so a higher amp alternator would be better right?

Any suggestions on brands as well would be greatly appreciated!
