$250 is not bad for a 4" lift. Your factory steering will work fine with 4" any more and you need drop pitman arm or Z'ed drag link. If you don't want to use blocks than you can get a set of front hangers off of another 73-87 to replace the rear hangers with. This flips the rear shackle for 4" of lift and a softer ride, with more flex.
