There are differences in frame width on Chevys from 60-66. I know this from taking the bed off of a 62 and putting it on a 66.
I also found out that the bumper mounts and the bumper from an earlier 60's model wont fit on a 66 for the same reason. I cant remember the exact width difference but i think it was approximately 6-8 inches difference between the two.
