You can find the 1980 tilt column on PG 6-42 & PG 6-43 in the 1979-1984 GM 52A Light Truck Parts-Illustration books. Follow the links to GM parts wiki host site for our square body parts manuals.

Make sure the plastic wiring protector is in place and the wires are running along it instead of rubbing on the internals of the column.
Automatic protector is GM # 7828270
Manual protector is GM #7817247
