There's a dent in the lower portion of the tailgate, some minor surface rust here and there wood is strong but not much to look at , but other than that tis perfecto.

I'll have to see if my Dad still want's it , he thiinks that it would be a nice temporary fix to his 68 short bed problem, I'll pm you when I find out.
