Yep...A roller Rollers were 4" Shur-Line foam you can buy at Walmart. Was gonna spray it but after judging the results by doing it both ways it looked identical and I was originally planning on a patina look anyway so i figured I'd be sanding through layers anyway....but things evolve

Rolling was definitely alot more tedious but virtually no mess since there is no overspray.

The process is pretty well documented on the internet BUT I had to try it on some test panels and tweaked what I had read and came up with my own process to achieve the results I was looking. I'd be happy to share my process with anyone thats interested.

Funny side note...My dad thought I was NUTS, my neighbors stood and stared in disbelief as I rolled..But last night when things started to take shape they were amazed at the results after a little buffing and that my friend made me feel pretty damned good
