A person I work with needed some money and no longer needed the truck so I got what I was told was a '75 C-30 dually with an engine and transmission with less than 200 miles on it with only one small spot of rust.

I looked it over and found what I expected rust wise. The cab corners and rockers had been replaced previously.

It started and ran so I figured it was well worth the $1000 asked.

After I got it home I have discovered a few things, it has '77 doors and at least a '77 bed. The engine is a '73 350 that was running hot and has a intermittent knock after it warms up.

The transmission is a New Process 435.

At some point a lot of work was done on the truck. I figure at some time in the past before the previous owner got it, it was put together from several other trucks.

I am going to fix it up and use it for towing and hauling stuff and fix it up along the way.
