Your not the first to ask me this question!!I will say that I feel very secure with this setup. I will say that the as nozzle doesn't come anywhere near the light itself. Remember that you open this door regularly and would probably notice if the wires were exposed. My last point is that in tank fuel pumps have power that goes all the way into the tank. This is safer than that, IMO!!!!! Thanks again for the props!!!
