As stated above your filer is the "corvette" filter.
That filter has the regulator in it. It also has 3 lines. 1 in, 1 out to engine, and 1 return. Use that as the return and find the correct plug for the fuel rail.
Also keep your in line fuel pump mounted as low as possible in relation to the tank. They dont like to pull fuel up hill.
